WEATHER
Affiliated Club
Sponsored by Commsworld and the Pulteney Distillery, the four race series saw thirty three boats make the start line on Saturday in overcast but breezy conditions. The weather, improving through out the day, gave us a fine, if fresh, south westerly wind of 10 to 12 kts all making for some very close and exiting racing.
Congratulations go to Steve Goacher & Phil Evans who took three wins to secure the title before the last race was sailed. More in… Results.

The Scottish Flying Fifteen Championships

The RNLI saves lives
Not satisfied with the weather, Brian put in an order with the “Big Fella” for something a little better to be delivered by 11am for the start of Sunday’s races. It promptly arrived at 10:50 in abundance with plenty of bright summer sunshine and a near perfect breeze of 14Kts. Whilst this was great for sailing it gave race officer Donald McLaren a bit of a headache with a number general recalls and course changes delaying both races. This, together with many boats jumping the start gave him no option other than deploying the black flag for the unwary or over eager.
