1. BASIC SETUP
Firstly, Position your unit for optimal vision and access to all helm controls. Use of the optional S.H.A.D.E.S. Module (Sunlight Helping Auto Darkened Eyesight System) will greatly enhance the accuracy of the device. (Available separately).
2. FUELING
Before commencing the initial setup stage it is important to fuel the unit to its maximum capacity or T.A.N.K.E.D. This can be done using any propriety alcohol based fuels which you have lying around. However, it is recommended that for best performance, the commonly available B.E.E.R. (Brain Enhancing & Enlightening Reagent) or L.A.R.G.E.R. (Liquid Activation Reagent Giving Excellent Response) are used. .
3. INITIAL DATA INPUT
Begin by inputting simple commands at first. This can be done either in: A) Simple Audio Mode i.e. by voice using short commands at first such as “Straight ahead”, “turn to port”, “turn to starboard” and of course “Watch oot fir that Fekin Rock*, or: B) Simple Video Mode i.e. hand gestures. Once again keeping it simple is the secret to success. Extend your arm and index finger fully ensuring that they are straight and that it is in line with the units optional S.H.A.D.E.S. module. A reassuring hug will help GEORGE lock on to your every movement allowing it to track visual commands more easily. Once steps A & B have been learned it will not be long before you can start using combined data commands. Just point and speak. “Go that Way, “Go over there”. See photo 3 for detail. (Note the optional “hug” used by the operator).
*Fekin Rock, as I’m sure you know, is a small island in the Clyde which you only come across when you least expect it. GEORGE is guaranteed to find it for you every time.
4. INTENSIVE DATA INPUT
Keep it simple. To much information may over load GEORGE’s simple circuits. Such intensive data input is not necessary (This operator has gone to far with dire consequences.
5. TROUBLE SHOUTING
Oh dear, the price of failure. If GEORGE crashes due to data overload, simply put the unit into SUSPEND mode and reboot.
PLEASE NOTE:- This unit is not designed to get wet.
Available from no good retailers.
